This is my first attempt to write an ebook . I have read quite a few of them, and found that, they take too many pages to say what they have to say. I mean, page after page if information that could have been summed up on the first page. With all of the researth I have done, I don't think I can write a long book, but I can write enough to get my message across. I have had plenty of computer problems in the past, and now,after lots of reading, buying, and trial and error, I have found some very good ways to repair and tune any computer without costing an arm and a leg. I used the word "past" because, my computer runs very well now and that's a good thing, for an old hand-me-down laptop.
To make a long story short, I'll get right to it. I guess I'm a real tight-wad, and have never paid much for a computer. I have had my share of those rental computers, and they always have some kind of problem that takes major tech work to cure, or in my case, lots of expiermenting, trying to learn how to program and repair them myself.
The first PC problem fixer I want to mention is a Free Program called "Start-up and Shutdown Booster". I know that a lot of people have a problem with slow starting computers. Sometimes it seems like it takes forever to get things going, and shutdown can be just as slow, if not slower. I have tried lots of ways to solve this problem and this, in my opinion, along with that of many others, is one of the best.

The Registry is a very picky part of your computer. It doesn't take much trash in the redistry, to cause you all kinds of problems.I call it trash but, you know what I mean. Bits of some important files, somehow get deleted or sometimes the registry becomes the target of a virus, causing somes files to become corrupt. It's also hard to find a program that will fix the registry and do it right. I've tried a few of them, and this one's the best by far. There isn't much more I can say about the Registry other than it seems to be the brain of the PC. When there's a problem there, you can count on some major problems and maybe even a crash.
